We are serious about your privacy, so we don’t share your information with anyone unless you express interest in an opportunity by viewing, liking, commenting, or applying. To learn more about our privacy policy, read our terms of service.

What if I have an idea for a new feature?

We’d love to hear from you. This is the beta version of Pro:Up, and we’re actively working to build new features to make your experience more amazing. Your feedback helps us make Pro:Up easier and better.

While we can’t guarantee that we will build out your suggestion, we read all your feedback. The more people suggest a feature or function, the more likely we’ll build it in.

How much does Pro:Up cost?

Pro:Up is completely free for students and parents. Programs and organizations can create accounts for free. In order to send opportunities to students, they must pay for an annual subscription. The subscription fee depends on the type of organization and its size.

How do you monitor who posts on the platform?

To protect the safety of our students, our team reviews every opportunity that is posted before it can be published to ensure it is appropriate and is coming from a legitimate organization.

Why should I use Pro:Up?

Pro:Up is the easiest way to find the experiences you need to get ahead - and get them delivered straight to your phone. It’s for Young Pros who are in charge of their lives, who believe in working harder than everyone else, and who are ready to take their game to the next level.

How does it work?

This isn’t just another internship or job search site. We do the searching for you. All it takes is 5 easy steps:

  1. Make a profile. E​nter your basic information. This will serve as your resume.
  2. Share your interests. T​ell us what your interests are so we ONLY send you opportunities that match your interests.
  3. Choose your opportunities. ​Tell us what types of opportunities you want to hear about.
  4. Choose your travel distance. T​ell us how far you are willing or able to travel to reach an opportunity.
  5. Get notifications. D​one! Each time a new matching opportunity is posted, you get a text and email notification. It’s that easy.

Each time you receive a new opportunity, you can “like” it to save it to your profile, comment on it to ask questions, and share it to almost any social media, and even apply to it directly through the website.

How do I apply to opportunities?

There is an “apply” button on every opportunity you receive. When you click it, one of two things will happen:

  1. You’ll be sent to the program’s online application, OR...
  2. If there is no online application, we will email your profile information to the program.

Who can see my profile info?

We are serious about your privacy, so we don’t share your information with a​nyone unless you express interest in an opportunity by viewing, liking, commenting, or applying.

Your profile information serves as a basic resume. Whenever you apply to an opportunity, your information is automatically emailed directly to the program that you are applying to. Make sure to represent yourself well and be honest when you’re completing it.

How do I turn text notifications on and off?

To receive text notifications, make sure you enter your phone number in your profile. If you want to stop receiving text notifications, just delete your phone number from your profile.

Can I change my interests after I create my profile?

Of course! You can edit everything in your profile as often as you like, except for your email address. Just go to Menu > Profile, and click on the edit button in the upper right corner.

Can I still apply to an opportunity if I don’t have the minimum GPA or ACT/SAT score?

Every program is different, but most are strict about their requirements. You can still ask a question or send your profile information, but it’s not likely you will be accepted if the program is competitive. Use that as motivation to get your numbers up.

What if I don’t have my GPA or ACT/SAT score?

You can leave them blank on your profile, but we encourage you to check with your counselor or advisor to get the correct information ASAP. Some programs require that you have a certain GPA or ACT to apply.

If an opportunity requires an ACT/SAT score and you haven’t taken the test, then you will not be eligible to apply until you take the test and receive your scores.

If I apply, how will I know I got in?

Programs will review applications and contact you directly after you have applied, so make sure your contact information is up to date.

What if I have questions about an opportunity?

There are two ways you can ask a questions:

  1. Leave a comment.
  2. Click on the small “i” symbol next to the title of the opportunity to get the email address and phone number of the organization that posted it. Send them an email or give them a call with your questions.

How does Pro:Up benefit me?

Pro:Up is the easiest way to send information about your program directly to interested students with a single click. Unlike social media and other posting sites, the information is delivered only to the students you want, in a way that they love, and it allows them to act on it instantly.

We make it easier for you to find qualified students for your programs. Even better, we automatically collect data on your posts so you can see how many students are viewing, liking, commenting, and applying to each opportunity you publish.

Pro:Up is for high-impact organizations who believe in exposing students to the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to be successful and live fulfilling lives.

How does it work?

Pro:Up is really simple. You can communicate directly with thousands of students in just 6 easy steps:

  1. Create an account.​ Enter your organization’s basic information.
  2. Post an opportunity. T​o post an opportunity, just click “create an opportunity” and enter your program’s information.
  3. Pay and publish. T​o publish an opportunity, you need to pay for an annual subscription fee. Once you click “publish,” your opportunity is sent to our team for approval. We review all posts within 24 hours to ensure they are appropriate.
  4. Notify students.​ Once approved, your post is automatically sent to students with matching interests via text and email notifications.
  5. See student activity.​ Log in regularly to see how students are engaging with each opportunity. You can also view a detailed report on the total number of views, likes, comments, and applications you get each week.
  6. Get applications.​ If you have an online application, Pro:Up will send students there when they click “apply.” If you don’t, we will email you the profile information of each student that clicks “apply” so you can follow up with them.

How do I pay for the service?

You can sign up and create your first opportunity without paying so you get a feel for how it works. In order to actually notify students of your opportunity, you need to pay. Once you create your account, you have option of paying by credit card, PayPal, or check. You can also pay later by clicking on “Menu” then “Pay for Service.”

How do I know students are receiving my posts?

As soon as your opportunity is published, you will be able to see the name, school, GPA, and email of each student who has viewed, liked, shared, and applied to your program. You can also see the weekly activity in your reports.

How will I know if a student’s information is accurate?

Students are encouraged to be as honest as possible as they complete their profiles. In the future, school counselors will be able to verify student information, and you will be able to verify whether a student has actually participated in your program.

How does Pro:Up actually track applications?

Pro:Up counts the number of unique students who click the “apply” button and are sent to your online application. In the future, students will be able to submit a full application directly through Pro:Up so you will have a more accurate application count.

What if I want to post the same opportunity multiple times?

If you want to repost an expired opportunity, just click on the “expired” tab on your dashboard, change the start and end dates of the opportunity, and publish it again. It will pop up on student feeds as good as new.
